- With Rent-to-Buy, you pay weekly installments towards owning the vehicle. After completing the agreement, the car is yours.

What documents do I need to get started?
To register with Zoom PCO Hire, you’ll need the following:
- A valid UK Driving License with your current address
- A PCO License (Private Hire License issued by TfL)
- Proof of address (such as a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months)
- Your National Insurance Number
These documents ensure that you meet all legal and regulatory requirements for private hire driving in London.
What’s included in the weekly payment?
Your weekly payment covers all essential running costs and services, including:
- Hire & reward insurance
- PHV (Private Hire Vehicle) license
- MOT and car tax
- Scheduled servicing and maintenance
- Replacement tyres and brake pads (normal wear and tear)
- 24/7 roadside assistance
- A courtesy car if your vehicle is out of service

What’s the mileage allowance?
Each plan includes a weekly mileage allowance of 800 miles, which equates to approximately 40,000 miles per year.
If you exceed this, an additional charge of 20p per mile applies. For Rent-to-Buy customers, any excess mileage payments contribute toward early ownership of the vehicle.
What happens if the car breaks down?
All our vehicles come with 24/7 roadside assistance. If your car breaks down:
- Our support team will arrange emergency help or towing to a garage
- If repairs take longer than 24 hours, we’ll provide a PCO-approved courtesy car, so your income isn’t interrupted
We ensure you’re back on the road as quickly as possible.
Can I use Uber’s Clean Air EV Assistance with Zoom?
Yes, Zoom PCO Hire accepts Uber’s EV Clean Air Assistance of up to £3,500 for eligible drivers.
You can apply these funds to:
- Reduce your weekly Rent-to-Buy payments
